[GARY®]–Adhesion instructions of acrylic sheetⅡ

In addition, bonding skills are also very important, the following several common bonding process, analysis of their practical operation skills.

1- Butt joint: place two acrylic plates to be butt joint horizontally on the operation platform, close them, and stick a tape at the bottom, leaving a gap not more than 0.3mm wide for adhesive application.Use a syringe to inject clebon adhesive evenly and slowly from one side into the gap until it is fully filled. Remove the adhesive tape after it is completely cured.

2- Facade bonding facade bonding is the most widely used bonding technology, which is widely used in the production of various acrylic products.First, wipe the surface to be bonded. It’s better to use profiling to achieve bonding, so that the adhesive does not shake, which is conducive to improving the quality of bonding. When the thickness of acrylic plate is less than 3 mm, the adhesive can be directly injected with a syringe from one side evenly and slowly. When the thickness of acrylic sheet is more than 3mm, the thin wire can be padded in, and the capillary effect can be used to complete the bonding. The wire can be pulled out before the adhesive is cured, or the parts that do not need to be bonded can be pasted with adhesive tape for protection, and the adhesive can be applied to the parts where the adhesive is applied, and then the acrylic sheet can be inclined to extrude bubbles.

3- In order to prevent the displacement of the surface to be bonded, the inclined plane must be modeled at a 90 degree angle. The application of crebon adhesive should be uniform and slow. The profiling can only be removed after complete curing.

4-Plane bonding is a special method.First of all, wipe the surface to be glued clean, place it horizontally, and note appropriate amount of kribon products on it.Place one side of the other acrylic sheet obliquely on the acrylic coated with adhesive, then put it down evenly and slowly, and extrude the bubbles from one side to complete the bonding.

5- Precautions

1,All acrylic adhesives can corrode the surface of acrylic sheet and leave traces that are difficult to eliminate. Therefore, the parts that do not need to be bonded can be protected by sticking self-adhesive.

2,Grease, dust or air holes will be difficult to adhere evenly, leaving bubbles, so it must be removed before bonding.

3,When bonding, if the amount of adhesive is too small, it will bring air into the adhesive when it shrinks.

4,Direct blowing will make the edge of the bonding surface white due to the rapid volatilization of the adhesive.

5,Indoor temperature, temperature and other factors also have a certain impact on the adhesion of acrylic sheet.

6,The surface stress of acrylic sheet and the surface stress and degradation products caused by cutting tools will affect the bonding effect of acrylic sheet.

7,Before the adhesive is not fully cured, the acrylic products will be yellowing in varying degrees due to long-term direct sunlight, which will seriously affect the appearance of acrylic products
