Acrylic

Acrylic is commonly known as plexiglass, chemical name is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). The polymers obtained by polymerization of acrylic acid and its esters are collectively referred to as acrylic resin, and the corresponding plastics are collectively referred to as polyacrylic acid plastics, among which polymethylmethacrylate is the most widely used. Acrylic is one of the most excellent synthetic transparent materials with the most suitable price. At present, in view of the use of methyl methacrylate as initial reaction monomer or additive, China’s announcement on the list of 107 resins that can be used as food packaging materials (Ministry of health Announcement No. 23, 2011) stipulates that the migration amount of methyl methacrylate is ≤ 6mg / kg, The migration of maleic acid used for polyester plasticizer is less than 30mg / kg.
